We Enjoy Errands (Really)

Hi! I’m Sherri. I am so lucky that I love my career. I get to see first-hand how the free time I give to my clients releases their stress and brings them overall happiness and relief. In June of 2004 I decided to start a company that would address a pressing need: the sheer lack of time that many busy Southern California professionals experience on a daily basis, and their desire to achieve work/life balance. Thus, Consider It Done! was born. I used to live that life. When I was raising my three children, the burden of child rearing, working and household chores fell completely on my shoulders. I had a lot of energy – thank goodness – but I was getting up early and staying up late to get through my to do list. I am not sure I was mentally there 100 % of the time to enjoy my children. I was always thinking of all the things I had to do – cooking, laundry, shopping, endless errands and cleaning. And many days that list never quite got completed. I know that if I felt overwhelmed, others did as well. Now that my children are grown I know I have the time and energy to help many other busy households. Let me help you. I don’t just go through your to do list. I have run a household before and I proactively help you GET IT ALL DONE! I have seventeen years of hands on experience and I hand pick and personally train my staff. Over the past seventeen years I have been able to ensure that my high standards of efficiency and integrity have remained intact. I want to offer you a guilt and hassle-free way to get the help that you need. I want you to be able to focus on what is important to you – your family, friends, work and fun activities – so that you have the energy to enjoy them.


In 2018, I made a huge life change and moved to the beautiful state of North Carolina and in 2019, I relaunched Consider It Done! to serve the Raleigh area.

Meet your concierge, Sherri Durbin

I originally hail from Massachusetts. I have a twin sister, three daughters, twin granddaughters and two adorable feline fur balls. I lived in Southern California for many years, but after a bad car accident, I decided I needed to live in a place with more trees, less people and less cars! After much soul searching I picked the NC Raleigh / Durham area as having the perfect combination of weather, culture and quality of life.

I enjoy traveling, old movies, cooking, decorating, reading, coffee, Scrabble and cats, not necessarily in that order. I love being of service to others and I spend time each week in the volunteer ministry teaching Bible principles to interested people.

We are bonded and insured.

What a great experience! Needed help sorting items and organizing our multipurpose basement that had just become a dumping ground for pretty much everything. Lisa was great! She helped me sort and stay focused, lugged items and boxes where they needed to go and set me up for success for the things I wanted to sort by myself. She even loaded her car with boxes of stuff to donate and took them to the facility herself! Working with Lisa was like hanging out with a friend while getting stuff done! I think Consider It Done gift certificates will now be my 'go to' gift idea.

I am thrilled with the organizing services I received from Leanne at Consider It Done!I booked her services for 3 hours, and I am amazed at how much she got done in that time. She organized a "junk" closet in an extra bedroom; the chaos in a buffet table; my dining room table, where I drop all of my mail; and a bathroom vanity that was completely overstuffed.She also dropped off the things suitable for donation and took wire hangers to the cleaners. She freed me of the guilt of getting rid of tons of things, including old tax returns going back more than 20 years. I feel like I am breathing easier.I'm planning to book another five hours (at least!). Once she gets everything organized, I plan to have her come back regularly just to keep everything in shape. This service was worth every penny!Do not hesitate to book Consider It Done! to help organize your space.

I wanted to let you know how impressed I am withConsider It Done.  I first used your amazing service after a cross country move to Raleigh area. You & your team met me at the vacant house the morning of move-in. By 10 am all shelves were lined and you all were opening moving boxes & organizing items as movers brought them into the house, I must  say that I was dubious about 4 women accomplishing the task of setting up my home for the 1st night. Magically, by 4 pm, my kitchen was fully functional with dishes pots & pans in cabinets, the bathroom had my toothbrush & makeup all in appropriate spots, my clothes & linens were neatly arranged in my closet,  my bed was made... lamps were on bedside tables.  Three essential rooms in my house were cozy as if I'd lived in this house for months.  Over the next month you & your team  have tamed all the packing boxes in the garage, have made my home liveable & enjoyable. It would have taken me & my family at least 6 months to accomplish what you all performed in  a few weekly sessions.I had a very positive experience with you & your team members.A 'shout-out" to organizers Claudia & Julie.....these women are super-qualified & unmatched experts at getting the job done.VME

After Christmas and a illness I was overwhelmed with the amount of things that needed to get done. I decided it was time for Consider It Done!! Thank goodness I went for it! Sheri was very prompt in responding and helped me decide that laundry and tidying up was what I needed the most help with. A few hours later I heard from Nicole and I got on her schedule. During our first appointment she came in met everyone, got familiar with the space and went right to work. She has seamlessly stepped in, helped with folding and organizing drawers! I couldn't be more thankful!
